Subscribe to our newsletterThe HP Omen 16 has had multiple refreshes throughout the years, including models with Nvidia's latest RTX 50 series of graphics cards. And right now, you can get this HP Omen 16 with an RTX 5060 at Best Buy for $1024.99 (was $1479.99).
The RTX 5060 is one tier above the RTX 5050, the cheapest of the bunch. Alongside the RTX 5060, this HP Omen 16 also includes an Intel Core Ultra 7 255H, 16GB RAM, and 1TB SSD. These specs fall within what I'd consider mid-range, but the price makes it much more competitive with budget models.
Today's best HP gaming laptop deal
HP Omen 16: was US$1,479.99 now US$1,024.99 at Best BuyThis latest HP Omen 16 comes with fresh specs for just a tiny bit more than $1,000. It's equipped with an Intel Core 7 255H processor and RTX 5060 GPU from Nvidia's latest RTX 50 series, 16GB RAM, and 1TB SSD. Its 16-inch 2K display also supports a 144Hz refresh rate, perfect for games that need quick response times like shooters and sports games. This limited-time deal cuts the price by nearly a third, enough to compete with budget gaming laptops that might not have as new processors or as much storage or RAM.
View DealWe haven't reviewed the HP Omen 16 with the RTX 5060, but we have positively reviewed other HP Omen laptops like the HP Omen 16 Max in the past. The HP Omen 16 Max is a splurge compared to the standard HP Omen, but the value for the price stands out at nearly 50% off the price.
The Intel Core Ultra 7 255H, RTX 5060, 16GB RAM, and 1TB SSD combined fit squarely into the low-to-mid-range. The 16-inch 2K display with a 144Hz refresh rate also helps with performance, in case you need to capture reactions in real-time while playing esports or other action-packed games.
