Ravi’s behaviour causes Priya great concern (Picture: BBC/Jack Barns/Kieron McCarron)
Nicola (Laura Doddington) and Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) teamed up with the sole intention to obliterate Ravi Gulati’s (Aaron Thiara) life in EastEnders, and, by the looks of it, they’ve succeeded.
Harry certainly didn’t enjoy a ‘hot girl summer’ in 2025. No, it was definitely more of a hellish experience he endured at the hands of Ravi, and he’s still bearing the scars of the ordeal.
Ravi had blackmailed the hapless mechanic into becoming an accessory to his drug dealing operation, orchestrated the cuckoo’ing of his best friend, Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) and kept Harry prisoner in a lockup for weeks when he discovered his dad, Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian), trying to bring down his operation.
Though Ravi extricated himself from the crime ring, his decision to hand control of the operation over to Okie Okyere (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) made Harry’s life even harder, when Okie started to feed him drugs, quickly getting him addicted.
Things in Walford’s gangland reached a blood-soaked crescendo when a traumatised and terrified Harry stabbed Okie with his own knife, killing him, a crime for which Teddy took the rap and got sent down for life for.

After reaching rock bottom and heading to rehab, Harry returned to the Square, coincidentally, on the same day as Ravi. Finding his brother Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman) had moved in with biological dad, Zack Hudson (James Farrar), in the aftermath of all the trauma, Harry’s eyes burned with hatred to see Ravi reunite with his own family, being warmly welcomed home by girlfriend Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) and kids Avani (Aaliyah James) and Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury).
With the vengeful words of Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) ringing in his ears, Harry attempted to launch an attack on Ravi, but was stopped by his mum.
In the office of Harry’s Barn, Harry argued that without his pound of flesh, he could be driven to relapse and while Nicola initially attempted to discourage her son from continuing his feud with Ravi, the thought of her boy relapsing pushed her into agreeing to team up with Harry to ensure their revenge was enacted properly.
With Ravi alone in Harry’s Barn and wounded after being told he’s not welcome to attend Eve (Heather Peace) and Suki Panesar-Unwin’s (Balvinder Sopal) adoption interview alongside the rest of his family, Nicola decided to strike, drugging Ravi’s drink.

As Ravi succumbed to the influence of the drugs, Harry dumped him in the Arches, where he began to hallucinate, with his evil, deceased dad, Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) materialised to taunt him.
Terrified, Ravi escaped the garage, but as he staggered through the streets, the vision of Nish continued to taunt him. As Ravi lashed out violently and attempted to flee, he was unaware that, in reality, he’d savagely attacked Nugget. Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) found him and the youngster was rushed to hospital and placed in an induced coma.

Although Ravi confessed all to Priya and she demands revenge, he fails to wreak vengeance against the Mitchell duo when George Knight (Colin Salmon) intervenes. Utterly broken, Ravi turned to self harm.

Next week sees Priya insist that Nugget move in with Ravi in an effort to fix things between them, though Ravi’s all-consuming guilt leads him to act coldly toward his son.
